- Directional signs are usually placed at the entrances and exits for business locations. This type
of low profile sign can be a standard square sign or an architectural sign that is designed
similar to the on site pole sign.
- Directional signs can be illuminated or non-illuminated depending on the hours of business.
Usually you see these signs illuminated for such businesses as hotels and restaurants.
- Directional signs are typically installed 18" to 3' off the ground. The height of the sign depends
on obstructions around the business location. Some directionals have to be mounted higher
than others due to neighboring businesses, busy streets or landscaping issues.
